Each roll is a silent plea, a desperate interpretation of fate, where a favorable outcome offers a fragile promise of her son's well-being – a hope as old as motherhood itself."

Because of the erosion of urban spaces in the face of unchecked corporate expansion, this video attempts to put light on the yearning for a true sense of home within a city, Beirut, that has been commodified and sold off to large corporations. This leaves the younger generation feeling disconnected and without a secure place within their own city. The imagery of them almost grasping the loose threads of the city underscores their precarious position and the feeling of being on the verge of losing their connection with her. It was presented in Beirut Metamorphose at 12 Drouot in Paris in March 2015.
